2016 Call for Papers

Watch a short video about Fargo, "North of Normal"

The theme of the 2016 MAM Conference is inspired by a series of interviews with business and civic leaders.  Two related issues emerged from the interviews.  (1) Businesses in the upper Midwest have major concerns regarding “talent” and “transitions,” which entail tensions between individuals and organizations, and between continuity and change, and (2) a potential solution to such concerns lies in better connections between business and academia.  This conference thus invites a wide range of scholarly and creative work in research, teaching, and practice that explores or addresses the issues of engaging business with academia, using connections as a means to create value, and managing talent and transitions.

INTERESTED?  Submit a paper, case, panel, or symposium!  Our new submission process makes it easy.
